Chipotle Chicken

This Chipotle Chicken is smoky, spicy, and just the right amount of tangy. It’s perfect for grilling, baking, or pan-searing — and comes together in under 30 minutes. Serve it with grilled corn, avocado salad, and lime wedges for a bold, simple meal.

Marinate Time: 20–30 mins

Cook Time: 15–20 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Chicken Breast, thin-cut or pounded evenly
  • 1 tsp Chipotle Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1/2 tsp CuminChip
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Lime Juice (about half a lime)
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil

 

Instructions

1. Prep the Chicken

Pat chicken dry with paper towels. If using thicker cuts, lightly score the surface to help the marinade soak in.

2. Make the Rub

In a small bowl, mix all spices, lime juice, and olive oil to form a marinade. Coat the chicken evenly and let rest for 20–30 minutes at room temperature.

3. Cook the Chicken

Grill: Cook over medium-high heat for 5–6 minutes per side until charred and internal temp reaches 165°F.

Oven: Bake at 425°F for 18–20 minutes, then broil 2–3 minutes for added color.

Pan: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 5–7 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked.
