Ingredients

  • 2 cans tuna, drained
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp dill
  • ½ tsp parsley
  • white pepper, to taste
  • salt, optional

Directions

  1. Open the cans of tuna and drain the liquid completely. Transfer the drained tuna to a mixing bowl.
  2. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the bowl with the tuna. Use a fork to gently break up the tuna into smaller pieces.
  3. Sprinkle in ½ teaspoon of dill and ½ teaspoon of parsley. Mix well until the herbs are evenly distributed throughout the tuna.
  4. Season the mixture with white pepper to taste. If desired, add a pinch of salt, but keep in mind that tuna can be salty on its own. Mix again until combined.
  5. Serve the tuna salad cold or at room temperature, either on its own or with crackers, bread, or lettuce wraps for a fresh, outdoor meal.
